Disturbing films that have stressed you out?

Very claustrophobic , just hated Dennis Hopper
Only saw it the once that was enough
Never watched any of these films.
I used to get stressed watching episodes of The Bill.
People ending up in mincing machines and pets getting fried doesn't appeal to me.

Eden Lake is a grim film. I've mentioned it too work mates to watch and no one ever seen it.There’s loads I suppose. Older I get the more they stress me out and for some reason recently during lockdown I’ve tended to go for films of a more uplifting nature but nevertheless this is about stressful films or disturbing films you’ve seen..
Audtion, Japanese film. Loved it but end was awful
Eden Lake, the fire scene I hated. Good film
Come & See. Whole thing just made me feel dreadful. Too much given it is real.
Irreversable. Both the rape scene and the fire extinguisher scene made me feel wrong. Good film though.
Must be loads more.
The Others. Was so sad when Nicole Kidman realised that her and the kids were dead. Still feel for them now

I remember watching that and thinking it was canny. Then I saw Threads.......on a totally different level to The Day After.

Read this review yesterday and it sounds harrowing - The Painted Bird. Anyone watched it? WWII drama supposedly autobiographical.

Aye the hammer on the table scene was a shock in kill list. Really liked field in England but didn’t find it odd. Mark Kermode said the same when he reviewed it though.

Yes. It was terrible, and just nasty. Made all the worse with 'dad' being the git daft one from Operation Good Guys.
Although it was pretty well received critically. Long time since I've seen it.

I do like his stuff. Don't always get it first time round but his output stands up to repeat viewing. Love Down Terrace and Sightseers. Not sure what the hell he will do with Tomb Raider.
