That's fine...aside from the fact all the stats show this to be utter shite. In actual fact the house burning down is the white, straight, culturally christian, working class male ! Just watch Tommys latest video where a black chap explains exactly this. Neo-Marxists are at work with this BLM palarva and you fell for it straight off the bat.
If you’re expecting a balanced perspective from him then I won’t even bother debating it with you

why you’re watching that shite is beyond me

Colourism is a big issue in the Caribbean. Michael Holding was in tears recalling how his mother was subject to abuse from her own family for marrying a darker skinned man. It's still on Sky cricket website I think. And plenty of cricketers down the years have spoken about paler skinned players being preferred for selection

This subject runs throughout CLR James' 'Beyond a Boundary'.

So they are protected against a practice we outlawed 200 years ago?

This is a moment to reflect on racism at a global level and the inequality and discrimination black people still face globally. I'm no statue-smasher, but historically we are the scene of just about every crime that contributed to that situation, certainly as regards to the Caribbean. I have no problem reflecting on that particularly as the Caribbean Islands continue to struggle with the legacy of British rule, which only ended within living memory.

I mean, with respect to the West Indies specifically this is the main point - vast majority of black people in Britain have ties to the Caribbean, precisely because our history's are very interlinked. There are plenty of people alive today who will remember a time when those islands (or most of the major ones, anyway) were part of the Empire. The Windrush immigration papers scandal happened in the last few years ffs. To say this is only about whether there are anti-black racist sentiments in the West Indies today - which, as one poster has pointed out, there are of sorts - is an incredibly narrow view of what this is all about. Wilfully narrow, perhaps.

See , dismissed straight away. It's the black guy that does 90% of the talking, it's by far the most informative video I have watched describing what exactly is going on.
