wearing a mask over your breathing apparatus is very dangerous - please get plenty of oxygen folks
i wish i didn't see very old people wearing masks as i think very old people should get as much oxygen as possible
i wouldn't put a mask over a dogs breathing apparatus either
Can't eat your bait and sup a pint with a mask on mind.In summary, we need to wear them in supermarkets but not pubs and restaurants? I suppose it’s giving the hospitality sector a fighting chance
I personally think they are fairly pointless but will happily comply. Went on Metro last week. Couldnt be arsed to drive and it was no big deal. I couldn't even be arsed to have a word with people not wearing masks.
Metro was nearly empty. This cannot go on indefinitely. Economy will be in the toilet.
Better not be, I'm going on holiday in 6 weeks. This should have happened months ago but glad it’s going to be mandatory from July 24th. I thinks we are getting prepared for a 2nd wave probably starting in 6 weeks?
You could be right.I suspect masks are being introduced so shops can prepare to get rid of outdoor queuing systems etc.
At what age do kids have to wear them?
I don't know anyone else but this makes me less likely to go out to the high street etc. I just can't be doing with it.
So nurses wear them to stop giving it to patients ?
Is it THAT much of a big deal is it? Putting a bit fabric over your face for a bit?Me too. I have never been in a shop since before lockdown started as I have been stuck at home with my disabled daughter. I was looking forward to looking in a few shops again once she goes back to college in September but won't be going if it is still compulsory to wear face masks. I'll just carry on shopping online.

We haven’t seen eye to eye over a couple of things on here. But that comment is 100% spot on.nah I think most people will just do it as they know it's for people's safety. The internet mouthpieces will do it without question and then go home and tell lies about how they won't be wearing one.
Aye .A two way street like i said .The cheap ones people wear all day are for single use by dentists and the likeMainly yes, it depends on the type of mask they're wearing.
Surgical masks in lower risk areas, but not just to protect patients, they'll wear fluid resistant ones to protect themselves from splashes and such like.
In higher risk areas clinicians wear N95 respirators to protect themselves.
Okey dokeOf course they do. It’s the reason why they wear masks in theatre or when carrying out a sterile procedure, or when treating a patient who is immune compromised. Why did you think they wore masks?
Gyms due to open soon. Surely that is more dangerous than popping into an off license for a paper which takes about 2 minutes.
You’d said you’d go in shops, but if face masks were compulsory you wouldn’t, so the face mask is the issue then?No and I said I'd do it if I 'had to', I'd just rather not go in shops.
