Thought it was a strange decision to bat first given the conditions but it was a pretty abject effort first dig.

Think wood will miss the next test for broad but come back in for Archer or Anderson in the 3rd depending on workload, would like to see Stone get a chance in this series

Fair play to them, could easily have collapsed after the early wickets.

Still think we can win the series. Very little in this game really, some fine margins (and umpires wanting to prove they're not homers). The poor decision to bat first and drop Broad didn't help. Root to come back as well. Looking forward to the next one. Hate one sided tests.
