Google is pretty good source for stuff. It is usually spot on for information.

Seems to be a term applied mainly when its criticism of the right though. When a Labour MP tweets something and there's a Right wing pile on, what do we call that?

There was a move a few days ago calling for Steven Pinker to be kicked out of the Linguistics Society of America for sharing some research which showed deaths at the hands of police was proportionate with arrests of both blacks and whites.

"Cancel culture" refers to the removal of support, including the boycott of someone, usually a celebrity or public figure, who has expressed an opinion that is perceived to be offensive.

I'm really just pointing out inconsistencies in the application of the term, needn't be party political. Just political.

And the term is fairly intertwined with the online world. Difficult to separate it from twitter and forums.

That's her problem, there's loads of stuff highlighted within social media that exacerbates things, it's quite comical to me.

That's where you question things do a bit of digging and come to your own conclusions based around as many facts or none facts you can find.
This pandemic hasn't half brought the idiots out in force, especially based around click bait.

Her kids received a lot of abuse and bullying at school due to the way she was portrayed. When Francis apologised, she came onto the receiving end.

Why on earth should she be happy about that?
