Guessing this is a direct result of them being called out for only ever appointing their mates. They've been doing so because their scope and understanding of the industry is as deep as a puddle.

If they can't just appoint whoever they worked with at Eastleigh OR Oxford they are out of ideas and have to advertise.

Two year two late, this should have been the priority from day one, when Madrox waltzed in. This is the future and the foundation of the club bringing young players through into the 1st team especially at this level.
Instead the academy has been asset stripped.
 
Tin hat on, I don't have much of an issue with this. What will be telling us who we end up appointing. In theory we've wanted his mates to go, especially if they're underperforming. Reid certainly was, judging by results. He's now gone. We also complain about ex Eastleigh people coming straight in as it suggests they don't do any sort of recruitment process. They're now advertising this position. Now, this is a very slight benefit of the doubt I'm giving them, but I'll reserve judgement until I see who they appoint. They won't be spending loads so we'll hardly get someone massively impressive, but hopefully it's at least someone with relevant experience who doesn't know the owners!

Yeah probably. I just think it's a bit (not very, but a bit) harsh to complain about mates of owners being in positions and the club not advertising vacancies, and then when one leaves and we advertise for the replacement that gets criticised as well! It'll probably be someone shite, and if it is that will deserve criticism, but on the face of it its not worth criticising them about this move just yet! Truth be told I'm hoping Rodwell is behind this and is at least trying to do his best.
 
Thing is there's that much damage been done to it, it's going to need someone who can firstly bring in a good crop relatively quickly. They'll also need a long term plan.

I agree mate, but @Johnsafc has applied and said he was at Eastleigh so should be a cert👍
