Dobell on cricinfo is talking that this could be the beginning of the end for Broad

interesting comment from him, I think Broad has another couple of years left personally but who knows

what do you all reckon?
Personally I agree, he could easily go on another 3-4 years imo injury permitting. The problem he might have is competition for places looks like it’s getting stronger and stronger-comparisons with the emergence of one day side 4 years ago being made.

These are not conditions you would want to bat in first, WI haven't gave much away and have tested the batsmen

Think they will try alternating him and anderson based on conditions, that's if the likes of Archer, Wood etc stay fit. Could prolong both careers or bring forward retirements

Nasser has just listed some of the others who are not selected. I like broad and his ability to suddenly bowl a spell taking umpteen wickets but we have to eventually look past him and Anderson.

i think they may bowl out in Australia at the same time like Courtney Walsh and the other windies quick I’ve forgotten but I can see in my mind, but his name has left me

Curtly?
I like Broad too, I hope to still see a lot of him this summer and going forward.

I wouldn't be leaving out Mr Consistency when there are injury concerns surrounding 4 others pace bowlers (Anderson, Wood, Archer, Stone) and Stokes bowling less and less.

Ambrose. That’s the man. My minds gone already. I was only looking at his book the other day to buy as well, but just couldn’t think of his name today

i see Roots child has been delivered so he will be back in next week.

Woakes got a mention as well. We have a number of options currently but a few injury doubts as well

these conditions stokes would have it swinging around corners

BBC highlights tonight. Presumably it will just be like ch5s but with no adverts, at this rate, they may be able to show all the days play

That pull to mid on from Denly. Came off like the ball hit balsa wood
