Aye, I mean, I'm not sure if anyone is in a position to be able to fact check it, but it is very damning. If its anything like accurate I'd much rather have Donald. Some are saying we don't know who his backers are and maybe he's just the face of a consortium etc, regardless if the article is even near true we can't let this bloke near our club, he sounds like an absolute disaster and it could literally be the end of safc. Yeah based on public statements they’re in for £25m including the £9m they owe FPP. As a guess I’d expect about £10m of that to have come from Donald himself.

Out of all the rumours and counter-rumours, that's the one that sounds most likely to be true to me.

The bloke is a football fan, sat at the top of a club he can't afford to be owner of, and a club far bigger than any he can expect to ever be allowed to own in the future. Even if it's not HIS club, he's living a dream... mixing his hobby and his work.

I don't expect him to shift anytime soon if there's a chance he can stay involved on some level and let someone else take some of the flak.

It’s difficult to imagine someone doing a worse job on the football side than Donald and Methven. So long as he wasn’t as advertised on the financial side - and doesn’t bankrupt the club - he’d be a better owner.
