He’s like Noble’s next in line.

Very average player that’ll have a couple of magic games a season, but is ultimately hyped up because of his nationality.

Like Noble, he’ll never become a regular England midfielder because there are so many players who play in the same position and offer so much more.

Noble has never been anything other than average who had the odd decent game every so often.

Rice is a Rolls Royce in comparison and he will be in a top 4 side soon enough plus a regular for England. He isn't flashy but his tackling and reading of the game are exceptional and is very comfortable in possession. At 21 he will get even better as well.

This whole thread is absolute f***ing tragic.

I f***ing love this threads existence, it's one of the best changes they've made on here - lumping all the NUFC trolls onto one thread so they can't spam the board.

I pop by every few days for a peek and then usually dip out without posting.

Look at the latest whopper man, he's a 'shadow of a cliché' of the stereotypical arrogant mag, and he's stuck on this absolute arse of a thread.

It'll be deleted soon and replaced with another one equally as tragic - marvellous.

And Man Utd. And Liverpool. And Chelsea. These clubs like Newcastle have played in Champions League but not Third Division. Sunderland have done it other way round. What your point.

You saying picking a team to support depends on the nearest river?

I am saying if you're from Durham you support the wrong team mate

another 1992er

you aint a real fan and nobody has any respect for you

Maybe Rice will thrive with better players around him

but he should be nowhere near the England squad currently, he is a lower half player, on par with the likes of Shelvey, based on his performances

if he played for Norwich, wouldnt be a word

I couldn't disagree more. Time will tell who is right.

Im sure one of the mods is a genuine mag. I'm with Reiver on this one
Don't side with Reiver. Remember he 'prefers Grayson'.

Ffs man your on a message board of your rivals with a profile pic of a cup they won 50 odd years ago. Surely you must have something better to do

Imagine Steed and sess is as good as it gets in terms of flair players at your club

I suppose when you have had years of white hatchet man like Bally and catts the likes of steed probably look like zidane to you small time bunch
White hatchet men!!!!!!! Wanker, fuck off.

Shelvey was awarded man of the match by sky. Most newspapers have him coming out on top too. I just don't get what he offers.
If you watched the game you'd clearly see what he offers.
Granted, he's not always on his game but when he is he can produce quality.
He worked hard yesterday in all aspects.
Definite man of the match for us, as far as I saw.

I meant I don't get what Rice offers - it was a follow up from a previous comment. Shelvey can be very very good, just a shame he is far from consistent.

Your quote does not read like that. But even so, Rice had an equally man of the match for West Ham but Rice can be inconsistent as well.
However, going by this game alone, which is all we can do on fairness....they both had very very good games.
