Black Lives Matter

There are two houses, one house is on fire, the fire brigade are called to out out the fire.

Some one asks well what about my house?

Both houses matter, both are important but only one is on fire.
I’d love to know where you’s fellas live who see racism in your everyday lives whites against blacks.Ive never witnessed in my entire life and if I did I’d do or say something to stop it.All the blacks,Asians and oeoole from the Far East I know are pillars of society and well thought of and respected.

What about the racist targeting of white english bairns in this country by Muslims? We have racism here and now on our shores yet it’s brushed under the carpet as though it’s a one off every few month. If we go down the mud flinging road then we have got to look at all things that’s wrong not just one incident on the other side of the world in a foreign land.

For me this black lives matter is a joke (the name causes divide in itself! I have no doubt we have racism in the Uk no where near the level of the USA.

I also have no doubt we had peaceful protesters to start but it was hijacked by fruit loops from both sides.

The footballers are hypocrites happy to take money from counties that still have slavery man city sheff united and potentially the mags to name three.

How far do we take this back to we boycott Italy for what the Romans done or do we stop Scandinavian for the history of the vikings Oh no we start tv shows for entertainment.

where was the mass protests for the Chinese slaves killed in morcombe? Or the protest for the Albanian slaves kept in caravans do these not count?

Being from a travellers background I know what first hand racism actually is and I’ve suffered it through school and even my adult life but when we have been removed from land we have bought etc I’ve not seen mass protests.

Black lives matter is stupid, white lives matter is stupid all lives matter is also stupid.

What we need is equality and until both sides stop being bairns we will never have this too many want the divide.

Even on here too many will happily be bits of bairns and name call behind a keyboard.

It not about racism Imo, Thats a side show!! its about left wing extremism and the whiter than white So called socialists trying to cause an unruly Society and undermine the government.. the same people would no doubt have been at Brexit, gay rights and feminist rally's/protests. Anything to try and destabilize the country. What happened to George Floyd was heinous but these movements backed by George Soro are opportunist!!
Nail on the head.

I have a cousin who falls into this cat, right f***ing spoilt brat.Lives at home with her mar (28 ffs),hates the Tory party even though they give her benefits every week, has a tattoo sleeve, nose piercing ,posts pictures on social media of her singing at flowers and that.Shes a poster girl for the new labour voter.

You know, some people on here who have got different views or opinions on BLM are instantly branded thick, uneducated or racist. How can anybody turn round and say a movement that states 'Black Lives Matter' is not going to fuel tension in a white christian country. How many ant-racist movements are needed, is 'kick racism out' not enough, does that not work so there needs to be another one, and another one and another one? I am a white Christian with no prejudice against anybody no matter what colour or creed, but seeing people with black lives matter written on a t-shirt or a slogan is something that I would never bow down to or go down on a knee for - as the man in second command of our country stated he would only go down on his knee for the Queen and his wife and I share this completely. All media are saying people are mis-understanding its foundation and meaning, well no, how many kids that are not black are going round not knowing what racism is and reading these slogans and banners that state Black Lives Matter are been confused and questioning does white lives not matter then? Making us all now question the foundations that this (once) great country was built on. The Civilised free world was built on brutality and a barbaric way of creating law and order but every 'peaceful protest' I have seen on TV just erupts into anarchy and violence. I have supported Anthony Joshua all through his career, do you think I am going to support him now? I will leave it there.

I'd say I heard it audibly at two away games last season. Its definitely there.

I really doubt understand this 'all/white lives matter business'.

I'm a working class white male who people say are forgot and its them who are speaking up. I havent attended any protest for BLM, we all know that all lives matter, so why are people pushing their own agenda to be heard the loudest? Black people have a long history of being treat differently, let their voice be heard and the conversation had, doesnt affect my life one bit.

Spot on..

‘have’

....so tell me what’s the proportiins of black to white deaths at the hands of the American police?
Tell me the % of police more likely to be killed by a black person than a black person killed by the police?? I’ve grew up with a wide range of races as friends, one particular family is mixed race are probably my closest friends, and I’ve discussed this at length with them. For true equality you really need to look at both sides of the problem, it’s pretty much pointless if you dont. The culture is the problem no wonder the police shoot people, imagine having your life on the line day in day out, worried that one person you arrest of any colour for the pettiest of crime could pull a gun and shoot you! and then be staggered to find the race that commits the most killings and most violent crime in a country where they have about 13% of the population finds themselves in more trouble with the law it’s crackers.

A lad in my class said he experiences a form of racism every day. He’s only 13.

Sometimes it’s comes from adults serving him in a shop and even parents taking their children away from him in park when he was small. He said quite a lot of awful comments are directed at him because of his hair.

More needs to be done to make people aware and stop persecutions like this.

So would you say it’s small isolated incidents by a very small minority? Which is quickly stamped out and dealt with how it should be?
I'm not sure tbh, I think theres a divide that generally works both ways from my experiences.

In our every day lives then it wont be common, but swap places with black people and I think it would be viewed differently. I work with a Pakistani lad, lovely lad, we went to nando's once and all everybody did was stare... obviously that doesnt happen to me and I noticed it straight away and it felt a bit odd. I do think theres a different general feeling towards them from some of the public.

A very small minority will be vocal and actively racist imo. However, I do think some people see them differently.

Yup. Bizarre that the instant reaction is "but what about me". I've never felt targeted or prejudiced against in my life. Wonder where all these white lads have grown up where they've been held back so much.

Like I’ve said in an earlier post mate I’m from a minority so for me this does affect my life in certain ways, I still regularly suffer racist abuse and it’s more pissed me off that MPs,government, celebs etc have never jumped up to help I’ve also been nicked for fuck all due to this. Until we have equality we have nothing.

Agree. Ive just posted above, went to nando's with Pakistani lad in manchester area and I felt paranoid eating as that many were looking. Never experienced that before.

Personally, like a lot of people, am sick of hearing about it.

Too much of anything will sicken people, it’s in our nature. I think if it wasn’t rammed down people’s throats like it has been and done a bit more conservatively, more people would’ve got on the bandwagon. But I think the movement lost all sympathy when you’re seeing protests in the middle of a pandemic on the national media etc, it doesn’t paint a pretty picture. By the way I’m all for equality, I just think this hard, militant way of protesting will always cause division as it rubs people up the wrong way.

No coincidence all this started in the U.S a few weeks before the campaign trails began to elect the next president; its political and left wing extremism Aided by George soro to get rid of Trump predominantly. I know we are branded thick, racist and uneducated ( again) for having differing views ( remember Brexit) Don't be fooled into thinking this is about racism!!

The thing that sticks in my gullet a bit is that people say "I support racial equality, but I'm hearing too much about it, why are people kneeling before the game, get the game on, why here, why now, why not before, why not later, BLM want to smash capitalism". It's as though we all know the main aim is justified and honourable so we need to nit pick the circumstances and kick the can down the road
