It says no due diligence has been done though, and that it's in its infancy. Even if FPP did a form of due diligence again I can't imagine it being described as being in its infancy if it was them. And it mentions people who have previously been involved in running football clubs, again they could have someone else with them but FPP themselves certainly haven't ran a club before. I think it's a stretch to hope that they're one of these two, although that doesn't mean they won't get involved later I suppose

Donald said he hadnt touched a penny and that the 10 million was sitting there in the account to pay back whenever he wanted. Can only presume he paid it straight back...

I thought Bain was overpaid considering slashing costs is probably canny easy if you don't also have to worry about keeping the side competitive on the pitch. Donald has done about the same thing and looks like he expects millions, starting to think Bain should have had a pay rise if that's the going rate!

Well he never as if he did it would show on companies house. They are still here with their 10m in the club. One default and its theirs if they want it

Echo clickbait from one of the ‘journalists’ brought in on cheaper wages to replace the displaced experienced ones who were on more money over these last few years. A once decent evening newspaper is dead in the water due to cuts, cuts and more cuts and whilst understanding that the print media is struggling badly due to a drift to people accessing their news online, the Echo hoisted the white flag up years ago and Johnston Press have killed that newspaper.
We all know that FPP are one interested party, but they will dictate any terms of purchase and not the owners.
Rumours of Peter Kenyon, anongst others, trying to see who might be interested in SAFC have been doing the rounds for some months but nothing concrete as yet.

You might be right about Methven, but I don't think it'll be for season ticket renewals. I mean, if you want to convince people to renew I imagine they'd go with something exciting that gets us positive. If they said FPP are looking to progress things that's the kind of story that might excite people around renewal time. A couple of unnamed groups having a quick chat with Donald but being in very early stages doesn't really get the heart racing. I think it's just likely that they've got nowt to publish until the league one vote so they're putting any old crap on. There's probably been loads of groups having initial chats with the owners, hardly worth a story imo

Well there is the auction attempt that Nixon mentioned last week. Absolute BS in my opinion to try and make FPP come back to the table.
 
Didnt somebody on here say fpp were still sniffing around but now with some people who have experience in the footballing world, it seemed too good to be true but it was what they had heard. However as its the echo id put money on this coming from charlie
