One of the best thing this board has done in years.

Rather than a load of similar threads spamming the board, they're all moved to one thread that you can dip into at will or ignore.
Keep posting and giving it as many pages as you want mate.

See above
I disagree, but that’s a separate point. My point was if no one cares about NUFC other than our fans, why are there so many posts?

Newcastle crowds down = protest
Any other clubs crowds down = shit fans

Is this what you're saying?

Yes. Seen as we have had pretty much 52k at every game in the last 10 years and even when in the pub league last time.

Then it dropped off by 10k purely due to people protesting against Ashley and Bruce.

I remember the "if Rafa goes we go" getting laughed at on here but that was clearly the case for 10k.

Funny how you always seem to protest when you're shit.

Hardly. We had bigger crowds in the championship than we have had so far this season in the premier league.

Again, if you had protested when you were getting hammered week in week out by loads of tinpot clubs in the pub league you might not be in your current plight.

Sound the "football invented in 1992" klaxon.

Ties in with our forming tbh.

Weird, we averaged over 50K in the Championship after we were shit and got relegated. Surely you remember, it's mentioned on here often enough.

Instead of being 30,000 cuckolds, maybe actually do something about your team's plight.

You kept the manager you all wanted, spent a fortune and won the league.
You weren't very shit that season.

True. Well in that case I'm 31 and I can't remember us been very shit then as 1st in the championship is the lowest I recall us finishing

So you're not long suffering fans at all then, after all you're 31 and can't remember ever being shit, so why the protests and hatred for the owner?

Can’t bide these snidey black and whites. Absolute whoppers. Arrogance and delusion rolled into one. Why do they have to be our rivals?

Ashley's fault when they lose
Rafafafafafafafafafa a genius when they win even this season when he wasn't there and it wasn't a player he signed who played well or scored
St Rafafafafafafafa of two ball lonnen and dumpling hall

To be honest I just want the NUFC I grew up with back. A club which strived to be the best it could be and give the likes of Man U and Barcelona hidings and reached for the stars. That's what I was used to and grew up on. Same as most mags in their late 20s-30s.

Regular top 6 finishes and European football more often than not and seeing our team break the world transfer record. Like anything in life if you grow used to a certain standard then things drop below that standard you won't be happy until you get back to where you were before.

Man U fans complaining about only winning the fa cup and only coming 5th seems daft, but that's because they grew up with far better.

That was purely the Benitez factor. Crowds dropped to 37k on 2 or 3 occasions under Houghton despite being clear favourites for the title. Picked up when started winning a few games.

10k.sacked it off last season as lower half of premier league not good enough.

This. Absolute shite from them saying they were hitting 52k all that season, still high attendances but several in low 30's and early 40's...again very good but not the magical 52k.

You're right lower half of the premier league isn't good enough. It was for the Benitez factor true. If he left and we were around the playoffs instead of top 2 we would have still been around 44k though. Cracking attendance for the champo
