Regular?? In 65 years how many European campaigns have you had??

94-2006 pretty much every season. About 15 in total off the top of my head. 14 more than you lot.
This, a few years in the 90s.
European goliaths.

Few years? Just about every year post 93 and also most the 00s up until 2007 when Ashley joined. Oh and I'm sure I was in Lisbon for Benfica away 2013

What does being in Europe mean these days? Can finish 8th and get in man. We won 6 league titles. Can you top that?

So about 15 times in 65 year, like I said European goliaths.🤣

Knew you couldn’t help bring up Sunderland, how many league titles you got😂😂😂😂😂😂

I also would have loved some European adventures following Sunderland. But lets get it right you are not some European Goliath - you are a provincial club who had a moderate period of "almost" success. Without googling how many seasons did you have in the Champions League Group Stages?

Three Major European Cities that come to my min... Paris (No), Madrid (No), Munich (No)

2 in the group stages. 2 more than Sunderland.

Off the top of my head in my lifetime we have played competitive games in

Antwerp
Bilbao
Brugge
Barcelona
Palma Mallorca
Maritimo
A Coruna
Munich
Frankfurt
Alkmaar
Rome
Milan
Turin
Moscow
Kiev
Belgrade
Zagreb
Bordeaux
Marseille
Breda
Eindhoven
Leverkusen
Basle
Lisbon
Tallinn
Monaco
Metz
Halmstads
Budapest
Sofia
Zurich
Tblisi
Athens
Vigo
Istanbul
Palermo

And I'm sure I've missed a fair few. Pretty extensive impressive list of European away trips.

Infact in the last 30 years if you take out the current "big 6" I don't think any other club has played as many games in Europe as NUFC. I think we probably have more than Man City as well.

Never said Goliaths just that we have an extensive European record which we do.
Since 1990 I bet the top 5 clubs with most appearances in Europe are

Man u
Liverpool
Tottenham
Chelsea
Arsenal
NUFC

Why start at 1990?
Ah that's right, that's when you had your so called glory years and won absolutely fuck all.
Like I said a goliath of a club.🤣🤣

Very impressive, looks like you’re up there with the likes of Cardiff, Wrexham, Bangor, etc..., though to be fair, they only managed to qualify by winning cups.

Yes, we’ve won nowt, but do you support a team because they win things? If so, they’d only be have a dozen teams with support.
I’ve been supporting Newcastle home and away since 1972. Winning something would be nice, but winning nothing won’t have any bearing on my support.

Impressive list and I wish I had the chance to watch Sunderland in half those places as I am sure you had some great days out, but thats what they are days out - no silverware in the recent period. But it remains as 2 seasons in the premiere competition.

Top 6 aside I still rate Ipswich, West Ham and Everton ahead of you as they won something they qualified for. On top of that you have Forest and Villa who won the premiere competition.Wolves, Fulham, Boro and Leeds also trump you by getting to a final. A fellow mag may buy the spin that you are a European heavyweight but the history books show otherwise.

Pedant that I am, played Munich 1860 in the Olympiastadion, won 3-2. Solano scored. Intertoto Cup game.

Our lack of winning a trophy is a disgrace. I wouldnt pretend otherwise. Especially some of the teams we have had over the last 25 years. I never claim we are a European heavyweight just that we have an extensive European record and good pedigree in Europe.

As I said in the last 30 years I would be shocked if there is more than 5 clubs who have featured in Europe more than Newcastle.

And yet you still have the nerve to whine and bitch about being hard done by, you lot really haven’t got a clue what being hard done by is.

Imagine if you poor little souls had endured our past 30 years.
