That was our allocation bear lad. We had 12,000 in Milan in the champions league, something Everton have never made the group stage of.

Newcastle have had far more games in Europe than Everton as well

I've got to feel for the @Bear like both his 2 teams in the giant shadow of their near neighbours
Heysel prevented Everton playing after winning the league you dope.

Aye due to European competition being group stages since the early 90s and not knock out like they were previously which gives more games  They've actually qualified for Europe more times

15 seasons to 12 (UEFA dont show Fairs Cup on their website )

Newcastle fans are like the people who used to hang around with the big boys at school hoping for some reflective recognition.

Have Newcastle played more games in Europe or not?

Also, who gives a shite about how many times a team has qualified? Hypothetically I’d rather qualify six times and go deep/win the tournament than qualify twelve times and get knocked out in the first/second round.

Aye they have due to the format you daft **** at least UEFA still recognise the CWC

Have you never won a domestic trophy to qualify for Europe or not ?

I just find it funny how Sunderland are like in awe of Everton and have some big brother little brother thing going on.

You build Everton up as this massive club and say Newcastle have only had "a few years in Europe" when we've actually had more seasons in Europe than your beloved Everton.

Again the main reason I can think of for this bond is you both share the common bond of having higher profile near neighbours who at both seen as arrogant gobshites etc

On the flip side of that Everton only had to beat 5 teams to win the cup winners cup. It's a lot shorter than the modern UEFA cup/Europa league

The first 3 seasons of the CWC were not recognised by UEFA at the time.

It was a European competition recognised by FIFA and we qualified for it in 1969/70 by winning it.

More goalpost moving.
Not by UEFA or the FA. No one is moving the goalposts.

Also, it's a lovely sunny morning. What are you doing posting on your rivals messages?

Someone’s watch is broken. I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt on this occasion though and not accusing you if the usual predictability.
