I 100% agree, it appears that the accumulation of terrible decision making and lack of leadership and lack of finances is coming together with the Covid-19 situation to produce an absolute shit-storm for the club at the worst possible time.
the rules of the game have been written by madrox for self enrichment... but now the environment has shifted massively in many unexpected ways.
here one small one, the mrs works as psychotherapist; one of the big emerging future issue her service is now preparing for is increased social phobia due to the pandemic, tasks as mundane as shopping a rendered nye on impossible for suffers... in the past that would manifest as fear of strangers and negative thoughts, now there is another variable to add to the symptoms ... are they going to make me ill and that means that more people are developing this type of phobia
the former phobias parameters only represented a fraction of her caseload but since C19 those numbers have multiplied exponentially due to increased health anxiety.
if we the fans are keeping the club afloat through gate receipts/match day spend what happens if, in this new situation how many people dontl feel comfortable going into crowds/stadiums when normality returns whenever that is (next year or beyond).
tbf we are sliding backwards and in a world we going to the game comes with added risks for some, why would they bother

As frustrating as it is nobody is going to buy the club in the current climate.

Nobody knows when fans are to be allowed back which is a significant income stream for the club.

We’re stuck in limbo for the foreseeable

Haway man, Butch and Sundance, just fuck off as promised
“Fully committed sellers“ who have a “queue of people” wanting to buy a “club which is on such a good financial base”, should be no problem to sell. Especially since they had “well progressed and productive talks” at the end of March, and whilst COVID has “slowed things down a bit, it hasn’t had an impact”, because when you “buy Sunderland, you buy it for the long term, not the next two months, three months, whatever it might be”. So at the very least, since you’ve probably made a f***ing pigs ear of this sale as well, can you give us another update, as your expectations for completion is fast approaching. It can be full of lies, platitudes and misinformation, as it usually is, you can even blame the fans if you want. I don’t mind, as long as you are as far way from this football club as you possibly can be.
Tear in you eye? I fell asleep during the first chapter.
Thou cheeky bastard

Nixon reckon there's a "couple of kidders still hanging about" but no-one has met the price Donald wants.

Whether that's a typo and he means bidders I don't know but you really wouldn't be at all surprised it this mob had attracted fellow Cowboys in the mould of that American clown who appeared at the Checkatrade final last year.

Wonder how far anyone is from the price he wants for it. Must be a fair way, its been for sale for a year at least. At some point the price has to come down if he is genuinely looking to sell.

Price will only go in one direction it just depends how stubborn SD remains. Final nail in the coffin for SD could be EFL confirmation of ending the season PPG. If the season is ended prematurely you would hope he wants to walk away quickly in the interest of all parties

Campbell is a cautionary tale on here. However, he had a vastly superior plan on the pitch. And, let’s be honest, the only people who’ve given information about the ‘great financial work’ done by Donald is Donald and his cronies. Not like they got the accounts out like so many other clubs did. If it’s a choice between the two I’d go with Campbell.

what’s the evidence for your claim?

The delay is quite simple.

Our takeover will not go through until Mike Ashley sells the Mags and then has some spare cash to buy us.
