I’m pleasantly surprised, I thought a cricket ball would be deemed too hazardous as a source of contamination. If sweat is allowed then maybe the prospects are decent for some action in the latter part of the summer

Its keeping me going too. Worry is a "second spike" and another lock down soon. If that doesn't occur then both the Test series should go ahead.

I've always sweat rather than spit - gives a much better shine.

Cricket Scotland are currently telling us beginning of August but hopefully we'll hear something today that will bring it forward at least for 'recreational' cricket.
