Starting to believe it's gonna collapse...

I wonder if the Arabs would give up on the idea if they can't get a club in England or go elsewhere on the continent?

Labour, the SNP and the Lib Dems all hate the Saudi regime. Corbyn, as much as I loathe him would certianly not allow SA t9 buy one of our clubs. I suspect the recent election result is one of the reasons they've decided to buy in.

I was under the impression Corbyn had a hard on for all the Islamic countries, his friends in Hezbollah and all that.
Not disagreeing with you though i'm sure you're right, not something I'm particularly interested in.

He went on Iranian state TV, the primary rivals for SA in the region. They seemed a sort of liking for them, certainly a sympathy. He absolutely hates SA though.

Absolutely correct. If this takeover goes through they will be hated whether they are successful or not.

Just a bit more normal didnt go on like they were a huge club and the world owed them something

The glory days of spending loads but winning nowt during the 90s changed them forever

So the club will be hated because of the Saudis and the attitude of the fans but the fans will then get pissed off because of all the tourists who are coming to watch them?

Why would there be any tourists if we are hated?

They are never rationally thought out arguments presented here. Moreover, the flailing rants of jealousy.

If figureheads with the charisma and personality such as “Keegan” are welcomed back to the parish we will be ok.

Jealousy? Are you sure you actually expend time and energy and go to games? As you really do not seem to understand how a football fans mind works? If this is happens and you are signing Mbappe (yeah right) etc. then we will be irked, pissed off at your condescending comments but jealous? Not at all. Not one single thought of jealousy. You choose your club, or to borrow the Everton phrase, are born to your club, and stick with it. I just said to my 12 year old will you jealous of Newcastle, if the signed Mbappe. He laughed...all it meant to him was not being able to pick him for his FIFA team!

Everton fans are not jealous of Liverpool? Real Man Utd fans are not jealous of City. It just makes that win, when it comes all the more sweeter.

What are you basing this on? Why would any team be happy that a league rival has more money to spend?

Aye they were marra, they didnt think they were more than a club and probably didnt pretend to be Sunderland fans on the equivalent of a messageboard pre 1992, such as the letters page of The Pink or whatever.
