I came here years ago following a link under a web search of “Newcastle United Discussuon”

Ironic really. There has been many times, down the years whereby most discussion in these posts related to the black and whites from Barrack Road, NE1.

Newcastle has always seemed a yardstick by which you measured yourselves. At its nucleus that is the real source of anger that we see now.

Newcastle United has been in a coma for 12 years so I guess during that period holding the mirror up made for favourable comparison.

If we are freed of the Ashley chains that binds us, well this is over isn’t it? We are really are stoking the embers of what was once a regional rivalry.

They seem to get more slack than most for some strange reason ? I find putting every one of the fuckers on ignore is best but some on here seem to enjoy their craic and constantly keep their threads and the top of a Sunderland board ?
