Short saved the club in the end (I say this through gritted teeth given it was his stewardship that got us here). They had millions of pounds worth of help from him. They need to sell to more capable owners asap.
Tbf, I’d say Short wiping the debt saved the club. They’ve not done anything revolutionary, just got rid of the big earners and cut down the outgoings.
Bob lad, they took us on cos they thought it would financially benefit them, nowt to do with balls to take us on. I appreciate their efforts but that is far as it goes mate, they are hopeless. You are now saying they admit they need help, yet have told us numerous times, we are ok. What’s changed? They are going from one disastrous decision to the next and I wouldn’t hold out hope of them getting the right people to help them out. I’d probably doubt they will get anyone to help with the shitshow they have so heavily contributed to.
Whats gunna happen with the loan if these new people come in?
Sorry marra that’s nonsense. Every football decision they’ve taken has made us worse. They’ve been an absolute disaster from a football perspective and I think we should be having doubts about their much vaunted financial impact too by this stage. Remember it was Short who cleared the debt - I don’t see how we should swear fealty to Donald simply because he refused the offer to port it over. Meanwhile the meagre investment he put in, slow rate of paying back the parachute payments as he promised set alongside the scorched earth cutbacks (that have seen us operate completely without scouting for a time while Coton was ill, seen our academy atrophy and used as a short term cash flow generator with no care for the long term future of the club, and seen a ragtag bunch of wholly unsuitable frauds run the club without a semblance of a plan for two years) has seen us go backwards in very real terms. We’re further away from promotion today than we were when he arrived. And even now the only positive of his reign (the financial work done) is undermined because he shat out of releasing the accounts for last season. So don’t be telling me than he saved tHe club. It simply isn’t true.

Honestly think Donald's intentions were genuine. Not so much Methven. Donald has simply found himself out of his depth. He can't believe he's in charge of a club this size and simply can't let go.
Are we not allowed to show are criticize them? Just because you think they are doing a great job doesn't mean we can't show are annoyance towards them.

They bought a debt free club with the best squad in the division and a very decent Academy for peanuts. Since then they've lost all the promising youngsters and we don't look like getting back to the Championship soon. No one could've handled the situation worse than they have. On top of that they haven't allowed us to have rich owners in FPP because they want to make a much bigger profit.
Is it a bigger job than they 1st thought as they didn't do the correct due diligence ?
