I have to agree I cannot recall a greater individual performance by a Newcastle player.

Gazza’s home debut against Liverpool stands out. Another 1-0, George Reilly. The kid ran rings round the league champions midfield. I recall him nutmegging Steve McMahon and then waiting for him to catch up so he could do it again.

Beardsley against Man City in 84?

wouldn't have thought so although I cant speak for Sima, i have never been an advocate of capital punishment not even for Sunderland fans, i don't think it's a good idea.
I also don't think Sharia Law is a good idea.

That said give me ten minutes and i'll have forgotten the article you just brought to my intention due to my excitement of the pending take over.

Rooney was a power house with great shooting ability but not for me.

Jesus, your doubling down. I’m well aware of the Bulgaria game. They turned out to be a great team and Ginola lost the ball that led to the crucial goal.

All goals can be linked back to a mistake. In Maradona’s wonder goal in 86 he went past two Sunderland managers and Terry Fenwick. I blame the Mackems for the 86 World Cup.

I’m being silly, because you are. Go and watch baseball if you want to watch a game determined by stats.

Gazzas home debut couldn't have been that good to stand out considering it was in the last 10 minutes against QPR not Liverpool.

Yes, the one club one city thing is certainly a big part of it. It surprises it does not play a bigger part on the passion for Leeds but rugby and cricket divide loyalties down there.

Newcastle is unique as a regional capital with no other club within its boundaries and no other sport that matters.

Regional capital have you just made that up!! What a berk. Listen to your self man regions don’t have capitals man, that’s probably the most Newcastle thing I’ve heard ever!! Just like when you claim places and attractions in Gateshead Whitley bay and Northumberland for your own!
