Weren't laughing on your way home. Some crying on their way to the metro. All that shit about going ironically but they actually wanted to beat us and saw it as their best chance in approx 10 games. Lat time we lost to your lot Moses was a bain.

I doubt they expected a win seen as it was our kids playing. The fact your lot are so small time that they are in that tinpot cup is the only reason the event happened

As if we take thousands to johnstones paint trophy games man  . That was the first and last time just to laugh at your small time lot having to play or kids

Savour it. Once the prince takes over the rivalry will be a distant memory

I'm a NUFC fan mate, but its shite from the majority on this thread. Just let whatever happens happen.

Perhaps the greatest footballer of all time but does not speak good English. Poch is more of an Anglophile but seems to have that spirit of the Barrio that we see in Argentinians and a working class city can identify with.

Yes, I was there on the benches. A helicopter was the only appropriate mode of transport. He had to leave via the sky.

The ability to speak English in Newcastle isn't really needed though is it.

Could have just kicked him up the arse out of the ground instead of being a flash tit.

Had less than 100 attended the home game in the previous round. Then crying because we only gave you a couple thousand tickets. Then got spanked by a team with the 2 youngest players on the pitch. 🤣🤣🤣

Still the best derby memory you have in nearly a decade.

So you came expecting to lose to your rivals from a lower division who also took thousands away to grounds in league one. We've taken our current problems with a lot of good grace and not kicked off in public like spoilt children, unlike supporters of other teams I could mention.

You have to be fair but I'd hate it if we went down to league 1 and left my club in ruins without anyone even kicking up a fuss
That tinpot cup saw Newcastles biggest away following that season. Bless them

For a youth team game! We never have been low enough to play in that tinpot cup

Neil Cox it was.

The biggest roasting I’ve ever seen a player receive or will receive . His parents were there that night to watch him unfortunately aswel.

That was him Neil Cox. He was kicking fresh air and couldn’t even get near enough to foul Ginola.

That is it. In a nutshell there might not have been a league trophy but there was moments of absolute greatness. As a football fan most of us live for those moments.

My mind does not play tricks. It was a night game wasn’t it? It was one of the greatest exhibitions of football I have ever witnessed live. His command of the football was absolute.

Is it on YouTube? I should look.

Yeah night game, beat them 1-0.

Ginola in what was maybe the best individual performance I’ve seen put a world class cross in for Ferdinand to head in the only goal of the game.

Theres kicking up a fuss and being children stamping your feet if hunreds of millions aren't spent on big name players. We've made ovnership aware of our feelings and will continue to do so, hopefully without being the laughing stock of the nation.

Don’t try and reason with them mate. It’s like trying to do so with a drunk. No matter what logic you provide, they are incapable of processing it. That’s on a good day as well.

Too true, I'm off for my tea. Roast beef put in the slow cooker before I went out for 13 mile run earlier around Penshaw. Feel ready for bed but i've a bottle of red to continue the rehydration :)
