Buy the stadium off the council, then build a new stadium/training camp, knock the old ground down, build offices, hotel, bars and restaurants.
I have absolutely nothing to base this on other than a feeling.

We were having a new monorail a few months ago.

I'm pretty sure I saw a tweet from her the other day claiming Saudi's can't be that bad and her evidence was two tweets from Dominic Raab and James Cleverley which is no ringing endorsement but especially weird when she has a rose in her name (usually means a labour supporter). Looking at her tweets I'm 100% sure it's a Saudi bot.
 
I think the whole thing is abhorrent and I will most definitely be giving stick to mags as we all know from their songs about Adam Johnson that they're a very moralistic bunch.

However, expecting football to stand up against Saudi human rights abuses is a bit much in my view when our own government sells weapons to them.

That’s not what’s happened at Man City and Chelsea - their academies are so good the best young talent is drawn to them. The kids realise they will probably never get to the first team but they’re getting the best coaching available.

All there is is offices? When was the last time you were there? There’s not that much office space there at all. Sintons solicitors across the road and a few other bits.

las I know in Manchester, staunch Man U fan has an 11 year old boy who has visited both clubs to look at their academy’s with a view to joining one. He chose city for his boy and not his boyhood team simply based on the environment and facilities. He said it was space age in comparison to Man U and apparently City are cleaning up the kids now.

Aye - hopefully we’ll get that kind of investment. I’ve a couple of mates whose sons play at Sunderland and Boro academies and the kids (and parents) love going to Man City for a game. Newcastle’s is due a major shake up anyway, relying on ex players old boys network isn’t the way forward.

I was back at work yesterday for the first time in 6 weeks so had to endure my Mag mate getting all over excited. He happily told me that they will have to do something with the stadium because there will be ‘twenty thoosand on the waiting list’ otherwise. Genuinely, he did. It’s the first time I’ve ever heard anyone say it in real life. He reckons there’s talk of turning the pitch 90 degrees.

I think there will be a waiting list for season tickets, they will sell out for the start of next season assuming it goes ahead for sure.
No idea how big the waiting list will be but assuming Ashley goes regardless of who we sign demand will outstrip supply.

All sounds like a good thought out plan. You do realise that the club already own the stadium, so I’m assuming you mean they buy the land off the council, but do the council actually own the land, or is it part of the original town moor. I always believed it was but don’t really know.

Difficult to know. Newcastle will have lost supporter numbers from the combined effects of austerity, Ashley and virus. However, if the new owners make the right calls at the outset, the club will start flowering again.
You can understand many supporters dreaming of a rosy future - the club has been mothballed, life has been joyless within and without for a dozen years and there is now real hope for positive change. The collapse of Northern Rock and the incoming of Ashley occurred around the same time - perhaps the club will soon have solid foundations for the future.
