It's pretty clear from the outset that probably won't be the case. I doubt they'd be handing over 20% to other parties.

My thinking is that they probably aren't too pleased that their name is so openly out there. I can't imagine that it was leaked by someone who had their best interests at heart.

It could be that Stavely is taking 10% as payment for brokering the deal, although I think since shes been buzzing around Newcastle since ~ 2017 its debatable.

The Ruebens already own a hefty part of Newcastle land / infrastructure and seem to be rather decent at developing areas / new building projects, and presumably have an already decent relationship with NCC. So if the reports are true and the new owners want to develop the local area it wouldn't be such a bad idea having them on board also.

Of course this is all pie in the sky thinking so fuck kna's really.

10% is a hefty wedge for brokering the deal. If it's a money no object type deal, I don't think it's particularly likely. Staveley is determined and connected. I'm not sure I'd trust her though.

I'm interested to see how it plays out. Still think there's games being played.

Totally agree with you. But when both clubs were in the PL Short was the biggest investor. There aren’t many clubs where the fans are happy with their owners - look at Man U and Arsenal.

I hope that's NET SPEND, as nothing other than that matters iirc.
