In fairness, this is probably the only bit a decent football news at the minute. Also, it's our local rivals and they are being takeover over by a billionaire Saudi prince. Anyone who says they aren't bother about it are kidding no one ffs.

If they do no relegation and West Brom and leeds come up I would expect they will do 3 down two up for the two following seasons until it balances out not 5 down the following season. I can't see them getting the premier league clubs to vote for 5 down in one season.

They may well do that, but it'd be plain wrong and a cop out on their part. All clubs should be treated equally and that includes those in both relegation and promotion places. You should not promote a club for finishing in second place and yet not relegate a club for finishing second bottom. All should abide by the same rules.
As I've already stated on this site, IF the season is deemed finished then the clubs that are in the bottom two places should be replaced by the top two by PPG with no play-offs. Barrow should be promoted from the National League.

we are two divisions below you after having managers David Moyles, Simon Grayson, Chris Coleman

Most of our signings have been practically free since the PL days.

We have been through the mill with our club chairmen / owners.

1) Mags takeover falls through and we stay in League 1

2) Mags takeover goes through - they dominate English football and win shit load of cups...BUT... this rejuivinates North East football meaning we also get taken over and return to the Premier league as a result.


What would people prefer?

You seem to have this weird fascination with the takeover going through and post regular updates as soon as they appear on another outlet, passing them off as if you know something.

Not sure if your trying to be ‘ITK’ or not, but whatever it is, is a bit weird.

No.2 obviously because my interest lies only with Sunderland.
Newcastle are irrelevant to me and only there to beat twice when in the same division.
(P.S. it wasn't a tricky question you mag bastard)
