I don't think it is. I assume that as a Sunderland fan you haven't watched Newcastle this season?

We are terrible. How we have accrued as many point as we have, is beyond me.

We have 9 games left, 3 of which are Spurs, City and Liverpool. 5 of the others are basically 6 pointers. We could easily get dragged down into it.
Probably be null and void anyway. No relegations but West Brom & Leeds promoted is my guess. Then 5 down 3 up the season after, in which time your team will be a lot stronger and a bottom 5 finish would be very unlikely

Would that trickle down the leagues? Coventry and Rotherham promoted to Championship, Crewe, Swindon and Plymouth up to League 1?

All of those may have been possible signings 10 years ago, no ffp to come up against. Bale is on £400k a week, more or the less the same with Cavani and Coutinho will be on at least £250k a week, no way they can get around FFP. They can only hope to emulate Wolves really.
Even without FFP to pay those fees and salaries for 31-33 year olds is as dumb as enjoying being run by a criminal regime.

This board is absolutely fuming over this.

Mainly because a lot of us don't want a repeat of 1992 when traditionally proud Sunderland areas started becoming infected by vermin. We lost a generation of fans from areas that were Sunderland areas. Just as a lot of the Keegan/Robson bandwagon jumpers are getting bored (don't see anywhere near the amount of mag tops round here compared to the 90s/00s) it's going to start up again.

Ok so we need to get our own house in order and drag ourselves out of this shit league one way or the other but I honestly couldn't be arsed with all that starting up again.

My hope is that it's been going on so long there's some problem and it doesn't go through or maybe the Saudis are skint now that oil is worth nothing.

All valid points

I think your bitterness is clouding your understanding of what King if the Road is trying to say!
Hi.
Are you still driving that taxi?
There’s a thread on here. Have a read. Would be the best thing ever according some. It doesn’t seem to be a minority either.
The general consensus was he'd be an improvement on Donald.
