I have to be cryptic as I got this 2nd hand - Caulkin is close to Staveley apparently. A well know north easterner has been asked to join the Board (for PR purposes). That’s who I got this from. It might be bullshit but I’ve had info before on various takeover/boardroom stuff and it’s always been spot on

Not doubting the info at this point, but who would be dim enough to associate themselves with this takeover at this point?

The more I read, the more the whole thing stinks. No wonder Ashley doesn't trust Staveley.

The person has been offered a place on Board but hasn’t yet accepted. Knowing it is, I think they will.

Probably for the same reason they were not waving anti Saudi flags last season.

Had i have been a human rights activist last year you may have seen me waving anti Saudi banners, and this year would have seen me still waving them, and support the team not the regime is a good slogan by the way.

As I am not a human rights activist I will spending exactly the same amount of time protesting Saudi Arabia in the future as I have in the past which is no time at all.
Well if the person who told me is wrong..( a person who I trust).....he will get a right kick up the jacksy.
i am just repeating what is being stated on BBC sport and SkySports News, see for yourself

Have you ever waved anti Ashley banners or sung anti Ashley songs by any chance?

on that as a development, how confident are you that is all cut and dried as opposed to your source regarding an approach for someone for the board?
I’m not an ITK or anything, but I’ve got a good mate who is well connected to this person who has been offered post. The word is that now that PL have approved there’s nothing in the way of it being announced. I guess only some govt. intervention could stop it now. I have no info on how likely this is but based on this government’s relationship with the Saudi’s I think it is unlikely. That’s just my opinion.

That’s fair enough, personally I think it could go either way. As I’ve said previously momentum against the deal seems to be gathering pace and from various sources

I think it’s a done deal, but the awful nature of the new owners doesn’t reflect well Newcastle or the premier league.

never waved a anti Ashley banner but have sang get out of our club when that particular chant starts.
Don't get the point you are trying to make with the question though.

It was addressed to Kestrel to which he replied, unfortunately your dialogue was accidentally included
