Because it won’t be announced officially until next week (within 7 days I was told). Some assurances have been given to PL wrt TV rights. This is coming from a journalist mentioned on this thread and no reason he’d bullshit.

Typical F.A, never mind the torture and murders, can you give us assurances on the TV rights?

The FAs fit and proper test are a joke. They just check if anyone has a criminal record. Those Saudi lads chopping off heads aren’t breaking any laws.

That’s not how it works. Getting PL approval was one of the hurdles but doesn’t mean the announcement will come straight after. The Saudi lads are on Ramadan at the minute so that might affect the timing.

Won’t do any harm to his career. More spotlight on NUFC means more spotlight on him. I don’t read the Times so I’ve no idea on his stance on Ashley (is he still with the Times?)

I have to be cryptic as I got this 2nd hand - Caulkin is close to Staveley apparently. A well know north easterner has been asked to join the Board (for PR purposes). That’s who I got this from. It might be bullshit but I’ve had info before on various takeover/boardroom stuff and it’s always been spot on

If what you say is true,..that date night be a bit premature.

To all the mags on here who say they feel uncomfortable about the Saudis and their terrible crimes but will still support the team.

Why don't you all go with huge banners and flags saying "support the team not the regime" after all it's the team you support not the murdering Saudis.

Probably for the same reason they were not waving anti Saudi flags last season.

Had i have been a human rights activist last year you may have seen me waving anti Saudi banners, and this year would have seen me still waving them, and support the team not the regime is a good slogan by the way.

As I am not a human rights activist I will spending exactly the same amount of time protesting Saudi Arabia in the future as I have in the past which is no time at all.

Me neither. He used to get on the times pods. Canny enough but didn’t paint him in too good a light. I doubt there’ll be many who were vocal will want to be on the outside. It’ll be some gravy train. Morals will have to wait for a while
