Far from it. I take a very active interest in world current affairs.
Your comment about poorer areas / morality is ridiculous. I mentioned areas that are your typical mag heartlands. Would you have been happier if I mentioned more areas to include some with less deprivation? Just for you I'll throw Gosforth and Jesmond in.
Regardless of where they are from, NUFC fans have suddenly lost any concept of morality. They are so desperate to get rid of a bloke who employs people on zero hours contracts and uses the club as an advertising avenue for his business to be replaced by pretty much the biggest bastard on the planet who allegedly sanctions killings, removes free speech, infringes human rights and involves his country with proxy wars all over the Arab world. Do you see why this can be construed to be ironic?
If you didn't know a great deal about him before this then what did you know? That's he's from Saudi and very wealthy, the end?
No I wouldn't have been happier had you mentioned more affluent areas, I see it is irrelevant, I just thought it bad form.
I agreed in my first post on this topic that it is obviously hypocritical if you are critical of Ashley over his stance on workers rights but not critical of the Saudi's.
As I also said in my first post I can disapprove of some things that people do and approve of other things that they do.
Taking Newcastle out of the equation and going back before any take over was mentioned:
I disapprove of the Saudi's bumping off a journalist.
I approve of their vision 2030 project which I was aware of before the take over speculation, I think it is a step in the right direction.
As I approve of the vision 2030 project I felt no outrage when they bought a share in Tesla, i don't see that as a bad thing.
Are you outraged that they were allowed to purchase Tesla shares, are you saying that people buying Tesla lack a moral compass? are you vocal on this subject?
It appears to me that Sunderland fans are not concerned that the PIF are allowed to buy shares in Western business they only seem concerned that they are allowed to buy shares in the business of Newcastle United.
Comes across as sour grapes to be honest but probably just best to agree to disagree.
