Whey man, check out this absolute f***ing whopper...

Most clubs fanzines are f***ing shite to be fair, but they do have a few whoppers writing for them. Might as well call that rag ‘Tyne Kampf’ the way they portray themselves as hard done by and the hyperbolic Mag propaganda they write. I’m sure some of our fanzines have been guilty over the years of the same.

apologies must be reading this wrong

  • Despite both parties seemingly wanting to do a deal, a price is yet to be agreed
I didn't see that, but it's a sensational bullet point to grab attention.

The article states Ashley might change his mind, not that an agreement needs to be reached.

This is always possible with Ashley, but you need to stop clutching at straws, the PL does not start the proper owner checks until after a sale has been signed off!

It's absolutely incredible how many mags crawl out of the woodwork when they get a bit of news or something shit happens to Sunderland. They vanish as quickly as they appear as well. f***ing cowards.
Most of them would never say half they stuff they post face to face to safc fans as they know the consequences but that's the Internet for you

The Mags might become the next Man City. Or they might become the next QPR.
I fear the latter but I also fear the former because any success would be unearned silverspoon nonsense and would mean nothing to me.

I prefer to win things by earning the win or spending my life hoping rather than getting to a point of expecting...because once expectation takes hold the club is pointless run of the mill elitist and ceases to be a club for the real fans.

Says the bloke who's been chomping away at aforementioned mackems for about 3 days straight. You're allowed an hour out for fresh air marra, should use it.
Seen nowt like it, him and Sima, relentless posting on this forum for hours on end.

I had a brief read of the forum before i started work yesterday and then checked again when i logged off and they literally posted none-stop on this thread, all day.

Imagine being so obsessed spending your day on a rivals board trying to justify yourself.

Sad sad blokes, mag in peace is anything but his username he's just a pathetic obsessed mag who spends most of his time on here

I’m man enough to admit it would be proper shite when/if this happens. Them being took over spending their way to the top end of the league, meanwhile were stuck in league one with an owner taking loans etc with little sign of planing or forward thinking. Anyone who says they ain’t just a little jealous is talking bollocks, look how excited the thought of dell coming aboard got us. Never mind eh stewy will see us right haha.

Sadly Nuke that’s not the world we live in. As things stand we will never win anything. And even if the takeover happens winning something is not guaranteed. It might put us in the mix though.

I'm 100% serious.
I do not want a plastic club and that's what we would get.
I want trophies that are earned and not bought amid expectation rather than hoped for.
Look at Man City and earlier, Chelsea. Cash splashed and managers thrown in like confetti until they got a run of trophies.
That wasn't ever a build over time, it was which group of mercenaries worked the best.

The north east will become a mercenaries dream if this lot take over, I believe.
Man City can't even fill their stadium for the champions league.

If we follow that route the normal fans will soon be ousted to be replaced with high fee paying plastic success, bandwagon jumpers until they get bored.

We might not be pulling up trees, as is but I always have hope and class myself a a real Newcastle fan supporting footballers and a club that actually runs on it's own in house means.

I'd take Ashley for the rest of my life rather than have my club turned into a plastic club of expectation rather than hopes and dreams.

'...because I'm a Sunderland fan'

That last line, man. Which self-respecting Newcastle fan would utter those nine words?

You're as bad as the shite Wraith came out with last night.

Most clubs rarely win anything.
It's about the hope for me and the FA cup quarter final for me was a hope for further, even if we did play lower league to get there.
For me the lower league teams are the do or die grafters and make the game generally much harder whilst also being taken a bit too lightly, at times.
No matter what happens I'll still be a Newcastle United fan and supporter but I do not agree with unfair advantages that come amid unsustainable means.
That's why I like the way we're being run. Ashley won't kill this club. Others might. In my opinion.
