They are going to spend a billion to create a 3 billion business. This is Dreamland for them lot
if football offers a 300 per cent retur on capital i havent see it at any other club..
premier league is arguably a mature business now and newcastle a mature business within that as they already get the huge crowds etc..

btw i otice how ashley took stavely for a couple of million as a "penalty fee" for leaking the deal egotiations to the press afew months ago..

Very exciting time if your a mag, only time will tell how ambitious the new owners are, if they do throw really big money at it obviously depending on ffp then they could challenge the top 6 in the long term and give the cups a really good go

Am I a bit jealous course I am anyone who says different is lying. Am I worried not in the slightest like I said before I don't worry about things I can't change if they're gonna happen they're gonna happen
In a weird way it might entice other big money hitters up to this part of the country and we could be a target. If both nufc and safc were based in London we both would have been taken over years ago by rich people imo
Its all going to come down to whether they want to run it as a business, investing carefully, gradually growing the club and spending within its means.
Or Alternatively whether they are going be so ambitious and agressive to the point of being wreckless like man city were in their first few years, not a care in the world about paying over the odds anr losing money.
FFP is a hurdle city never had but if they are so rich they can just absorb the punishments.

the punishmet is not being in hthe champions lague..if you are buyig the clkub for pr reasons..not beig on the stage completely obliterates the reason for buying the club..

Ive heard they are also going to heavily invest in newcastle the city as well as the football

Let’s face it at City have bought their success and cheated by doing it. Breaching FFP rules to win league titles and cups including the period we played them in the league cup final. It’s everything that’s wrong with the game.
