I didn't see they will sign them, I am saying they have the spending power to try and get them.

Don't just think that because they are based in the N/E, Top, top players won't want to go there, that is complete bollocks.

But we've seen that with ourselves that spending huge wages and bringing in top players that are just interested in a salary in the majority don't care. I am not going to list them as I'd be on here all day.

all that hate in football and out of football for Mike ‘zero hour contract’ Ashley, yet not one criticism of the potential new owner Crown Prince ‘no woman’s rights and public executions’ Mohammed.

Executions to be the half time entertainment? No alcohol served.

I think theres more to it than that.

The culture of the club is one and if everything is in tandem players do care, they just wan't to jump ship when it's going tits up.

Embodies more than football, as much as a city, a a very strong regional identity and culture.

Parallels with Dortmund, Marseille, Napoli, Bilbao etc
So Feyenoord are on the list now, you're missing the obvious one, go on, you know you want to...
I disagree by the way, I think you're just a club, decent sized for sure, decent fanbase for sure but trying to claim anything else is trite drivel peddled by the likes of True Faith and Lee Ryder. Fwiw I wouldn't blame any Mags for getting excited with the news that's come out the last couple of days though.
When did NUFC become 'More than a club' btw?

Another person pretending to care about the Saudi's morale compass when they didn't give a flying fuck when they invested in Sheff Utd.

 It’s banter lad. Lighten up. Not that it will bother mags but Newcastle will be dragged around in the media with all the human rights and sports washing. Like we were with Di Canio.

Hold on, is this Eric fella saying he's not an out and out mag? Get ta fuck man.
Passionate advocate of the North East.

Have represented the region on many business forums and worked with organisations for many years to boost the well being of the whole region.

The inward investment opportunity and trickle down effect is something I am very happy about for the local economy, especially right now.

The same statement would stand for any other town or city in the North East it’s just that it is always likely to be larger scale in the regional capital.

I do believe Wearside will get some domino benefit if this comes to pass.

Ashley’s nett spend over 13 years was barely over zero. Don’t let facts get in the way.

That's superb management in terms of running a football club sustainably. Zero net spend should be applauded, not castigated. It was excessive net spend that landed us in the shit. Zero net spend means you're actually recouping what you spend in sales of other players, or making profits on at least half of the ones you buy.

It was.

Did it go over your head?
No, it really wasn't.

You didn't know what to say so just responded with 'how ironic', instead of trying to counter-argue what was being discussed

Get away with your common sense!
