There's defo been some massive clutching at straws posted last few pages.

Proof funds have transferred between Ashley and stavely

Proof stavely and the Rubens have a joint venture business. A RB property on the paperwork.

It's wishful thinking this may not happen

Thank you for admitting that. I would do exactly the same - can you also now admit that you have no clue about why he has loaned her money or the intentions behind that? None of us do.
 
It was a matter of time before big money came in for either of the clubs in the North East.

oh indeed..its very likely something is brewing but..its odd..the more obvious direction for the funds to go would be from stavely to ashley..not tother way about..!

JV1 / RB Sports & Media / NCUK were all incorporated on the same day in January, a few days before it broke in the press that the PIF were behind the bid. I suggest people doubting Saudi involvement look at page 5 of the initial filling document

Other than suggesting that, with his history, he might be pulling a fast one on her, the only other motive I can think off is that he needs this to get the deal over the line. What I don't know, and find unfathomable is why Ashley is doing it, and not the Reubens or the Saudis.

I'm guessing it's to weed out a serious bid perhaps. Big Mike sick of same story. Asks her to put her money where her mouth is. Tells her to agree to a generous interest rate knowing she doesn't have the funds.

Mike can't lose if the above is true. He sells the club or embarasses someone he dislikes.

It is the odd part of it, hence why I keep saying the WHY is guesswork.

If you really want to pretend that Staveley is working on her own and there are no funds to buy the club so Ashley is just going to lend her all the money, go ahead!😂
