There is a huge catchment of latent support, in the region outside of the immediate vicinity of the two cities. Breaks my heart to see kids up here in Liverpool and Chelsea shirts. It’s about time this region fought back!
Theres some fairly blatant fishing going on mind. I don't get why you could even be arsed tbh.

The Saudis have appalling human rights as do the Chinese, glance around your house at made in China, unfortunately with football morality and sense seem to disappear.

We're in the shite yes but I can't understand how you can't see that for some, maybe most, Sunderland fans, Newcastle taking off and actually winning something would be a tad galling.

Could not care less about teams not in our league tbh.

First results I always look at is the teams in and around us, as they effect our chances of promotion not Newcastle!

Whatever Newcastle does at the moment has no bearing on our football club not even in the slightest

It’s been a fairly terrible decade for both clubs, in relative terms. It was about time some good fortune came back to this region, in football terms, and it’s not mutually exclusive. Maybe this will encourage Donald to cash in and sell to more ambitious ownership?

Are T-towels classed as essential items? Asda Byker might have to limit them to 2 per customer. Special opening hours 7 till 8 for anyone with a season ticket

😂
Why did you lot get excitedabout FPP then?

I would say mainly the plans they had for the development around the stadium, academy and generating more income to push us back to the premier league. I'd be worried if any of our fans genuinely thought we'd be throwing cash at players and spending 100s of millions on players. You can't do that anymore. The mags will think this is what will happen or expect to happen.
