Yes the Mail is horrendous right wing nonsense but some articles don't have an axe to grind, like this one. Unless you think Jack Ross is lying? Or that the Mail have just made all those figures up? :lol:

Hard not to though?
Take any emotion out of it and who comes out well?
The agent? - gets a good deal for his client
Maja? - rises up in the football world and gets more fish
Stewart? - loses an asset and makes a fool of himself overspending anyway
SAFC? - don't get promoted. Replaced good player with crap one
 
Maja been gone for a year, yet now they print this story, and people want to believe the DM :lol:

The chronology and details of that fit in a lot more with what was doing the rounds at the time. For example the threat to sign or be sold in January didn't even get a mention during STID but was widely reported at the time.

This all day long. It wasn’t an easy situation but the way it’s turned out has been catastrophic. Only thing in Donald’s defence is I don’t think many of us thought signing Grigg was a bad move, he looked like he’d guarantee goals at this level.
 
It’s gonna be pretty difficult to sue a paper that ya pal and co-owner just gave an interview to just a few days ago.

That was the crucial error, but it would have been a difficult call. At the time of Bain leaving, Maja's most notable achievement had been the goal against Fulham.

In fairness it fits the stories doing the rounds at the time. The only reason it has come out now is that there is no real football news and STID has been released so it's a hot topic. I'd imagine Maja and his agent want their side of the story to come out, which is only fair.

The truth is somewhere in the middle. Either way you look at it, Donald was made to look like a fool.

Yes. Mind you I'd say a massive part of any kind of.management job is looking for fires before they happen, never relaxing or taking your eye off things. Should have seen the possibility of Maja blossoming and f***ing off like his mate Asoro
