So many that I love. My favourite genre really. Especially British ones.

Favourite probably changes dependent upon mood but the one that ranks up there the most is probably A Bridge Too Far. Superb. The surrender scene man.

Platoon is probably my number one.

Other honourable mentions:

Fury
Zulu
Saving Private Ryan
The Great Escape
Battle of Britain
A Bridge Too Far
Cross of Iron
Above Us The Waves
Full Metal Jacket
Hamburger Hill
Hacksaw Ridge
All Quiet On The Western Front
The Odd Angry Shot

Dances with wolves. Kev’s portrayal of jaded leuitenent John dunbar is Oscar worthy, a man out of place who comes to know and embrace the ways of the Sioux.

Apocalypse now
Full metal jacket
Saving private Ryan
How sleep the brave
tears of the sun
We were soldiers
Bridge over the river kwai
Great escape

Saving private Ryan
Lone survivor
Das Boot
Black hawk down
Where Eagles Dare
Fury

In no particular order, although the opening scenes of SPR are jaw dropping and brings it home just what it was like there on June 6, 1944.

I remember the squeaking tank tracks you can hear before seeing the tank , enough to put the shits up you.

Just like the music in Jaws before the shark turns up , suspense at its best.
