I’d be more impressed by the boards choice had they not embarrassed themselves by attributing achievements to him that he’d never achieved. We’ve definitely improved so not arsed in the end.

Of course an alternative to this would also be appointing someone who didn't have that barren run to start with and had us 10 points clear at the top now but we will never know.
Really?
You think that someone could have come in and won games from the off?
With a squad that were unfit, were playing with no confidence, and had no pattern of play?
Jack Ross didn't know what his best team was, and he was into his 2nd season - how was PP supposed to know this straightaway?

You cant use Ross to judge other managers tbf.

Are you saying no new managers get results when they take over a side?

We got progressively worse under Parkinson for 2 months before it turned around.

We won games under Ross when the players were so 'unfit'.

At moment PP is doing a good job but is he the man for the long term or is it another short term appointment like everything else?

Also, it should be pointed out that he has got 1 decision right and about 50 wrong!

But I thought Donald was the antichrist and Parkinson was shite?

Or have you all changed your mood now you've won a few?

We didn't win enough games to get promoted last season, and if we hadn't sacked him, we would have been lucky to finish top half.

Donald failed to sack Ross when he should have. It’s his fault we’re still in this f***ing division.

This. From the outside it looked like Ross didn't have full control and so maybe was getting stung when it came to transfers and who he wanted, but the regression and the overreliance on Maja, then McGeady was frightening. However Parkinson comes in and is supported when f***ing off what was our best player, then despite having fuck all to spend brought in players to supplement how he plays and the system he uses. 12 months in a Ross was still f***ing about unsure what formation he wanted to play and how he wanted to play it.
