Got a bottle of the 24 it's a belter

nice....

tried the18 which is also very nice
I bet it is if the 24 is anything to go by think it's a distillery that goes under the radar a bit

does indeed seem to go under the radar...their 18 for about 70 quid is good value
The A’Bunadh’s are still great value if you can get them for circa £50. Aberlour put the price up about a year ago but some retailers still have them for the old price.

that the cask strength one ?

did notice the price increase over the last year or so

Aye, I think Batch 65 is the latest one.
Whiskybroker released this 26yo last year for around £80 which was amazing value, especially for something so heavily sherried. Whiskybroker are worth following on social media. Fantastic pricing.

With the various batches it’s hard to compare, but this certainly shows what a cracking bargain it was a while back

just looked at their pricing....seems amazing value.
The delivery seems a bit more expensive but I’d reading it right the £9.13 covers up to six bottles ? Is that right or is that per bottle ?

It’s usually about £6.50 for me if I recall correctly. Usually a bunch of us from the Leeds Whisky club place one order for x number of whiskies and split the postage. The price is the same whether you buy 1 whisky or 6 from what I recall.

Their sherried whiskies tend to sell out within 30 mins which is why it’s worth watching their release announcements on social media.

They also have a huge number of Laddie casks in their warehouse, so worth monitoring if you’re a Laddie fan too.

I've never seen them before. Just been on their facebook and website. I'm not sure if I love you or hate you shakerman, that site looks outstanding to me.

When you consider it’s mostly all cask strength the prices are excellent. It’s amazing how many people are deterred by the basic livery.

staggering value...just added a few bottles to basket ( just not clicked on order just yet)

the livery/labelling etc doesn’t bother me one bit ;)

I'm now £85 lighter. Got the Inchgower and Ardmore, never tried anything from those distilleries before.

Ardmore are very decent though independent bottlings tend to be better than their own releases. One of the few highland distilleries that occasionally use peat. The bourbon cask releases tend to have a lemony white fruit flavour profile though it obviously varies from one release to another. Can’t say I’ve had much Inchgower myself, either.

Another bottler to look out for is Chorlton. Not as cheap as whiskybroker but David releases some outstanding stuff. That said, the 3 he has available at the moment aren’t his strongest. If you sign up for the Chorlton newsletter you get a discount code in the emails he sends out about new releases.

I'll have a look and sign-up, cheers.
last auction bottles went for £55 and £60.
£55 seemed ok but with fees and shipping would have been about £72 ish

quite addictive setting loads of watch alerts and seeing how much they go for

Loch Fyne has Victoriana back in stock for free delivery, £59.95

Not many left but heard on the grapevine that this is probably a Glenallachie. Only 50cl but good price for a 23 yr old.
Another highly sherried offering. Post 2006 Edradour is lovely if you enjoy very sherried whiskies.

Just bought a 28yr old Glen Grant 52.7% from Whiskybroker

Did you order a couple last week ? Tried them ?
Was going to order a few myself but might just keep funds for next auction starting at the weekend.

if prices are too steep will buy something from the Whisky broker instead
