Jealous?

Vixen at The Mayfair around 1990.

Oh sorry... "jealous", I thought you wrote "laughing"

Stereophonics in a San Diego community centre. There must have been 30 of us. I'd seen it advertised in the local community newspaper. I called in on the way back from work and asked if it was THE Stereophonics (reply: "Yeah, why, are they famous?" They were really good. Warming up for their tour the next month.

Jealous and laughing do not sound similar ķm!
I think I saw supertramp at a local college , but youth and other things may have given me a false memory on this one.

Music tastes vary so wildly that I’m not sure the jealousy thing will work.
Big Rude Jake, New Years Eve, Seattle 2001/2002. Won’t make anyone jealous, but the best gig I’ve ever been too. Tiny venue, awesome atmosphere. Band played on and off for About 5 hours and spent the rest of the time drinking with the audience. Supposed to finish at 1am, stopped charging for drinks at about 3, rolled out some time after 5.

in fact i dont get it so im just going to post my memorable gigs

Rage Against the Machine at the Mayfair
Run DMC at the leeds Festival
Ice T at the leeds Festival
Ice T & Bodycount at Newcastle University
Sugarhill Gang at the Leeds Festival
Limp Bizkit at Brixton Academy
Pendulum at Majorca Rocks

Jealous. Cracking live concert footage of Roger Hodgson on YouTube from just a few years ago at The Albert Hall. The bass player is amazing. He has a mini-cam on the headstock of his guitar which gives a good view if his playing.

Ah, best gig I have ever been to is different.

That would either be The Cure at Edinburgh Play House around 1992-3 or a band named Tarras from The Borders who I saw play in Canterbury. They were very young then, it was a different line-up to now, and they had driven all the way down to Canterbury in SEnKent from The Cheviots in a transit van all day. They were just brilliant.

Saw both Iron Maiden and Sex Pistols at Middlesbrough rock garden (not on the same night).
Sex Pistols were already 'known' and played under a different name - Acne Rabble., but Maiden were pretty much unheard of at the time.

I saw oasis last ever gig at V north.

I'm just gutted I didn't take the experience in more. No one had any idea that would be it at the time.
