How can we stop the rubbish on the pitch?

1. Supporters need to take responsibility for dropping litter
2. Club provide more bins in more areas
3. Get a leaf blower (on suck ) to clear it up quickly if there is litter.

Ban the fat whoppers who think it’s acceptable to shovel pasties and pies down their throats for 90 minutes and just chuck their rubbish away. Would ban them for life if it was up to me. Shameful

It would only take someone with a litter picker to stand near the dugouts and pick it up. It's all gathering there.

Actually pissing me off that someone hasn't sorted it  Looks absolutely lifting.
Blatantly obvious tonight, it was all swirling round there so have someone collecting it in as it did the rounds

Looking at it, most of it seems to be the clear plastic bags that the sweet sellers outside the ground use. Not sure what can be done about it mind.

I think the whole ground should do the chant 'What a load of rubbish'. It maybe then blow away

Or maybe a demonstration outside of litter bins, preferably with a well written banner . 'Robbish oot'

No other club has fans that drop litter ?

Of course they do, but whether it’s stadium design, lack of bins at our place or a higher percentage of scratters amongst our support, or all three, we suffer worse than anyone else. It was cringey as owt tonight at times. It’s professional football and to see pros ferreting about amongst crisp packets at times was embarrassing imo.

Restart this thread but with the title - "Keep the SoL litter free next weekend - hands up who's in, [most appropriate charity] if you're out"

Or do something on the social medias with a much pithier title but with the same basic emphasis.

A couple of people with big nets at half time could get most of it, anything sold in the ground has green packaging so if it does escape it isn't as obvious. Not dropping it in the first place is the crux of it but that's society for you atm, no civic pride.

That's what I said to my mate at half-time, why don't they get the ball boys to pick it up, would take 10 mins.

All food to be paid for by credit or debit card which will print the address of the buyer onto the wrappers. Any wrappers found will then be traceable and subject to a fine, bringing in enough revenue to pay someone to pick it up. This would pay instant dividends and it would cease to be a problem within 24 days
Canny easy way for the council to make money that, just empty a few bins and go through the rubbish fining people, how would you prove you put it in the bin?

Is that the reason though? Can honestly say I’ve never seen anyone dropping litter on that scale. It’s got to be coming in through the exits surely? It looks f***ing shocking like.
