Best of ,Greatest hits albums

Prince, REM and The Waterboys have all made some superb albums. I'd say REM, in particular, were an album band and you're missing out on a hell ofa lot by listening to singles/best of only. I'd agree with most of the rest, aside from Sting as he's crap whether you listen to singles or alvums.
Listened to all three above albums over the years and canny, just not really fussed now.
Love the Waterboys greatest album though superb

I was going to say a Bryan Adams, but then realised that Reckless is better than the Greatest Hits.

Anyone said Barry Manilow yet?

Room to Roam is an absolute classic, closely followed by Fishermans Blues.
I didn't know they had a greatest Hits.

I'd imagine the Joy Division would've struggled to fill a greatest hits album even if things had not gone the way they did.
Apart from a few, both albums are absolute tripe.
