Chris Tarrant's Extreme Railways is an excellent show and he's very knowledgeable about the places he visits.

correct but i would think CTs knowledge was zero.

I went to see Levison Wood at the Tyne Theatre with my lass (no) a while back and found him pretty dull.

Levison Wood's strength probably isn't theatre work, he actually did the walks, no fancy cars back to the hotel each night.

Zombie Cliff Michelmore would be a great addition to TV. Likewise, an undead Robert Robinson doing quiz shows.

He does from time to time but I think it’s because he still says things that presenters would think twice about nowadays.

Maybe.
He's a good presenter, and I love watching all travel documentaries, especially rail, sea and airline travel shows.

I used to religiously watch Globe Trekker/Lonely Planet, on Sky tv.
They did some great programmes, and travelled to some amazing places.

Been watching this fellas shows on Netflix, cool as fuck. Gutted to find out of his demise too, really sad. Watched the Scotland episode, him an AA Gill bring toasted to good health, jesus.
