Acceptable age difference between partners

Sounds ideal having kids later in life when you've had time to do whatever you want for the first 40-odd years.

A lot of blokes get in their 40s and women just shut up shop. I’ve seen it hundreds so times. Blokes then often go for a younger lass. It’s happened to loads of my friends and work colleagues. Sad state of affairs really but most blokes need regular sex and women often become stale later on.

It’s normally a case that the couple shouldn’t be together no matter how much sex is involved.

The amount this happens is ridiculous. I’ve been out loads of times and discussed sex with mates who have been in relationships 20 year. You get bored of that aspect of it. It only takes one to turn of completely and it’s over. That’s why so many affairs happen.

I’d imagine for most of us yes and get to a certain age and some women have had so much shit go on in their lives they’re timid as fuck. Be that through body consciousness, self doubt, bad relationships etc. In this day and age where you can flick to the next woman or man on your phone you’re gonna get left on the shelf. A lot of younger women want older, safer men who are finically stable so I’d say more and more men are going with younger women.

I must say the difference between browsing the dating apps when I was back home at Christmas and down here was staggering.

Nearly every profile of a lass 25+ was some lass with stuff like "PROUD MAMMY TO TWO LITTLE BOYS...IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT MOVE ON!!!" or "NOT JUST LOOKING FOR A SHAG IF YA INTO ONE NIGHT STANDS FUCK OFF!", which was off-putting.

@Hammer and @Skandhaless both quoted the unspoken 'rules' on this, and I agree with them. A mate was concerned that his lovely 19yr old daughter was seeing an older bloke, early 30s I think. I asked him what would be acceptable to him and he answered 'maybe 26 tops' which pretty much confirms the maths of common sense. Half your age plus 7.
