our mate is 34 and the divvy she’s with is 23, 2 kids as well. Matter of time before it ends in tears.

Could end well but it's likely that she could be losing time in the search for a real partner. Maybe she just want enjoyment for the moment though.
Always difficult,t to predict with relationships - I think the old concept of a partner for life is maybe unrealistic (with people living longer and the 'remote control' generation). Perhaps relationships should just be thought of as small units as part of our lives - sounds a bit cold but they could be positive units that help to fill our time.

In all honesty reading this thread there’s a canny few people seem jealous of their mates bucking younger women. Saying it looks wrong and stuff fools nobody. Sexless I’d imagine.

Just admit to yourself you rode that ass into the ground before it’s too late.

Most lasses are a lot more mature for their age than blokes are. Probably why it always seems to be more socially acceptable for a bloke to be with a younger lass, than it is for a bloke to be with an older lass. I would say the former is quite common, but the latter a lot less so.

Deep down they already know.
Even worse when the lass in younger. My mate married a lass 10 year younger who like himself never wanted kids. She got to 35ish and all of a sudden wanted them. Result. Hes 51 wandering about aimlessly with two nippers  and all the shite he spouted to us for years about kids has been forgotten.
I love asking him to come out now knowing it’s a no no because he’s busy with the kids.
