Is this the attempted flip folk keep referring to?

The echo reckons he has discussed takeovers with at least 10 different parties in the 18 months he has been here, if that is not someone looking to flip it i don't know what is. I suspect the reason none of them have been completed is that he wants a hell of a lot more than what he bought it for.

He's been telling us all since he got here that his plan was to bring in other investors to join him, CM and JS as co-owners. That would mean selling some of his shares. It's not some kind of big scoop that he's been actively trying to do this.

His plan was always to stay on as a co-owner.

Now that he's been told to get out of the club, he's trying to sell the whole thing. He always said he would go when the fans wanted him to go. "The fans" have now told him they want him to go so he's going.

It was never meant to be a "quick flip".
I’m sure you can do another ‘investigation’ and find it

You seemed very sure that "every point was true" so I figured you'd find it more easily. If you don't want to back up your statements with actual evidence then don't expect me to believe it.

I'd be very surprised if any story printed in The Sun ever about anything was completely true. It's like the "reality show" of newspapers.

Promotion, more money for a Championship club.
Wonder why he's in no hurry to sell.
I think your spot on mate, but its hardly a credible business stratergy, if we get turned over in the next 3 games and the crowd turn. Partially because he told us all that he was going to back Parkinson in this transfer window and doesn't (which looks more and more likiley). Is it another interview on Total sport with the "Right the crowd don't want me here I'm selling up" patter

feels to me like an admittance your investigative skills aren’t up to much.

What is this turned over you speak of

His plan has been to sell the club, not to stay on. It’s been on sale for a year. I’ve heard this first hand from one of the directors and second hand from another director. It’s also been in every newspaper, Local and national thats he’s been looking to sell for that long.

You can believe what you want mate. I appreciate you don’t know me from Adam. But you’re wrong.

He tells that many lies he forgets what he’s said previously hence the reason fans are calling him out! His version of events vary from interview to interview, quite clearly hasn’t got the funds to run us in league one never mind in the championship even though he states he can!

Is it this one where "the Americans felt the club was over-valued" was the reason it fell through, where Sam Allardyce says he'd come back if a takeover went through? (Something he himself said was bollocks later).

Sunderland takeover OFF as American owners pull out of talks over valuation of the club

It's the only one that seems to still be online as far as I can see.

There is this one from 2017 that says that Ellis Short might have to settle for getting a bonus for getting back to the Premier League instead of being able to sell the club in full. Seems a remarkably similar story from, you guessed it, Alan Nixon.

Sunderland owner Ellis Short close to agreeing takeover deal with mystery German consortium

Providing things Donald says does not constitute evidence either and that's all you've got. Using the words of what people identify as a liar to prove a truth is a complete waste of time.

have you looked at every page on the internet to confirm it’s no longer there?

fair f***ing play mate

I've done a number of highly focussed google searches for articles from The Sun involving the words "Sunderland" and "takeover" along with combinations of words relating to your story like "off", "fell through", "bonus", "premier".

Nada.

Except the two stories I linked above that have been proven to be bollocks.

Says it all.
