This. Saw one of our fans get pulled at boro a couple of years ago. Don't know if he had gear on him or had in the recent past. Two rozzers with a spaniel.

Our away section had sniffer dogs back 5 years or so ago, don't be a drug tacking, flare sneaking, dog treat hider and you would be fine..... Its like getting patted down before going into a ground

I've been attending games at our stadium since it opened and never once seen a sniffer dog.

They are at the north stand for the away fans every game and have been for several years now. There’s usually a big pile of confiscated items next to the turnstiles at the away fans, seen alsorts ranging from fireworks to alcohol.

Didn’t bother me in the slightest and didn’t slow me down getting in.

In fact food was decent, prices ok. Clean stadium and we f***ing won despite them being utter shit houses!

They had them at Man City a few year back. My daughter is really nervous around dogs and was getting really upset and wouldn't go near the turnstiles (she was only 10 at the time). My Dad went over politely explained to the handler the situation. The bloke turned around and said "not my problem mate, I'm not moving" . I started giving him some shit, which I regretted after because it was in front of the bairn. A few of our lot who had realised what was going on joined in and the plod showed up. One copper showed some common sense and got him to move so we could go through the turnstiles. Some of these wankers cause more bother than any fans.

Seen a lass going into Boro get stopped for drugs to by a dog handler. The dog was calm as fuck. It sniffs around and just sits down in front of the person if it finds something. The lass knew straight away and started balling her eyes out.
