RAOS: Huddersfield in for Hume...

Can’t see how it’s in either our or his best interests to go now. Put in a good 2nd half of the season and he’ll be in bigger demand anyway irrespective of us getting promoted

Thread still going in spite of no corroboration of any sort

Absolutely outrageous offer (if it is true) for a player who has done next to nothing in the game yet. Would obviously prefer he stayed but that would be very difficult to turn down.
It's hardly an outrageous offer like. Plus if he continues improving he'll be worth a hell of a lot more. Be stupid to let him go now.

Far from a finished player, developing well, playing well in a team who look on recent form to have turned a corner, local lad and in comfortable surroundings, for a player he’d be daft to go. But money will play its part and the offer of better wages will likely be a massive temptation.

If true this will be a test for SD and show us his real true intentions going forward.
Sky are reporting that Huddersfield have signed Toffolo from Lincoln: Transfer Centre (Sky Sports)

That will end any interest in Hume.
Well that should put an end to that then.

Yes many defenders do. He is a class act going forward and at only 21 he's still learning and developing. He was fantastic against Wycombe at the weekend. He's going to be a top talent.

I recall posters on here regularly having a go at PVA, it was endless. He signed for Palace for £14m and is still in the PL, whilst we're in league one.

Don’t think it could be put any better!

So are we all getting the idea that young players need time to develop and will improve the more 1st team football they get if they are up to it? By the way smartarses I include myself in the "all". We must support the young'uns while they are learning not hack them to bits.

Absolutely. Denver's a bit of a softy as a defender though isn't he?

Naive to think he will cut it as a defender at a higher level. Even when on top of his game against Lincoln, he was bullied off the ball when a proper full back would have sorted it out, and it cost us a goal.

I know the £3.5million was bullshit, as no team would be prepared to pay that for him.
