Basis of a good side there. If only we had a decent owner and manager I would be optimistic. Good keeper, pretty solid defence, Matty longstaff in the middle, Almiron and saint maximim ahead of him. If only we had a good striker top half would be achievable

Ask a Bury or Bolton fan about your plight and they'll say exactly the same thing. It's all relative.

The same how I sometimes scoff about the opinions of Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea fans who claim hard done by. Then I remember...

That's because you moved to a far larger ground man. We've averaged higher crowds than you every season that I can remember, even when a division below. And I'm in my 30s

@The Fish

Good point away to wolves. Bruce has stopped the rot amid an injury crisis
Cracking and unexpected point.Again owed a lot to Dubravka being a good 'keeper and their attackers having an off day, but there you go. We still look like we're riding our luck and luck will run out.

Almiron seems to have found form now.

A comfortable win last night and a very favourable home draw in the next round.

Can Bruce take you further in the cup than the messiah Benitez? Looks like he may take you further than you've ever been under Ashley.

Miracle worker

Fully expect you to get battered on Saturday & lose away to Everton but lets see what happens, Bruce has been pulling rabbits out the hat all season

We have been horse shit on in the cups for far too long now. That said, our draw has been fairly kind 🤣 forgive me if I don't get too excited about beating Rochdale and potentially Oxford.

He’s doing a decent job in the top league, what’s not to like.Happy f***ing days.

Why? You only work out your opinion on something based on how Sunderland are performing at the time? Then decide whether you can laugh or not?
That sounds pretty sad to me.
I think it looks embarrassing when we’re in a far worse position. It’s like a bald bloke laughing at someone who’s started receding.
