Think you need to learn about football, they had 1 chance in 2nd half so what, we had a lot of chances, we didn’t play well but had chances to win it, it’s a poor league you don’t always have to play really well. You may well disagree crack on and disagree

I can't recall us having more than one shot on target in the second half.

Wait, no he didn't the subs were Maguire, McNulty and De Bock.

Absolutely clueless
What are you talking about!!! We are on about the Bolton away game
This sums you up

f***ing brotheed
You really are a grade a idiot, you probably don’t even know what the conversation is about. If you can’t take the fact that we did create chances then jog on
Definitely high on the spectrum you like. Feel very sorry for you actually. An absolute laughing stock.
Like I said you need some help, you seem to think your funny but your the only 1 laughing in your small dark room all alone, it’s tragic really

The away game that Daryll Murphy didn't play in yeah? Yet his contribution was being discussed earlier?

Donald has made mistake after mistake. Ultimately the buck stops with the man at the top of any company so both he is a perfectly legitimate target of fan anger and criticism. Donald himself said after the play off that he felt he'd let people down, that he knew we had to do better, and we've got worse.

He's certainly made some mistakes. He is human after all. Let him cast the first stone who never makes mistakes even in their areas of expertise.

Not sure what your point is with the second paragraph though. He admitted he felt he'd let people down. Surely that's praiseworthy?

Yes we've got worse but that doesn't mean he isn't trying to improve us.

Jack Ross was failing to deliver the targeted points haul, the fans wanted him out, and SD sacked him. Positive move.

He then hired who he considered to be the best candidate of those that applied and those that stated they were interested in the job. Would you have preferred him to have hired someone that he didn't consider to be the best candidate? Again, positive move IMO.

Clearly appointing PP hasn't been working yet, but as far as we know, the plans PP has for the January window will make the difference like signing Gabbiadini did the last time we were in this division. Still too early to judge IMO.

A point of contention that I almost agree with is how long it took to put a new scouting system in place. I, like many others, would have preferred this to have happened much quicker, but perhaps there were legitimate reasons it took so long? Perhaps it was important to keep the books balanced without the extensive scouting network in order to attract investors? Perhaps that's just how long it takes to formulate a plan for such a network and find the right people for the vacancies? We just don't know, but even without that information a lot of people are using it as evidence against SD. That's a step too far for me. For me this falls into the "hmm, not enough information to judge properly" category.

SD had been criticised for not having"football people" helping him make the decisions. He has now hired a couple of people who fit that description. Positive move again.

Fitness of our players had seemed to be an issue, so we've hired a new fitness coach. Positive.

We all want the club to be doing better than it is, and tensions are obviously running higher the longer we go without winning, but none of us know what's going on behind the scenes and like @pwsafc said a few posts ago, some people are lashing out at anyone and everything to do with the club at the moment and some are even twisting every bit of positive news coming out of the club and misrepresenting quotes to fit an anti-SD agenda.

Spot on. Ego driven maybe?
Not at all.
I get that, but for major things I'd have thought they'd canvass opinions from the members. After all I'm sure they suggested they'd do that about a possible stadium naming rights issue, and for me whether we ask the owner to sell up is a more important issue. Not really a criticism, and like I say I agree with the decision, I'm just interested to know what decisions they discuss first with the members, which are just with the reps (and, as an example we've got an SMB rep but he didn't ask for feedback here about it so, although we all know the way the wind is blowing, it's not necessarily an SMB position) etc. I thought the idea of the meeting in January was to allow all members to have a say on the situation and possibility of protest etc but this has seemingly come out of the blue. It probably did and they probably just had to react quickly, and maybe just asking those reps was the way to go, just found it surprising
You’ve summed it up pretty much exactly. No real need to be surprised at it. There’s was talk of canvassing but it was thought that it would take too long and action was needed now. Like people have said the reaction shows it’s the right thing to do. In an ideal scenario we should be put in the situation by the club.

You will get hammered for this post :)

I didn’t mention Murphy, the conversation started about Ross’s game in charge against Bolton , people need to read before commenting
