Maybe, but they should really have some way of deciding/measuring these things. Or a process that has to be gone through.

No. They shouldn't.

We don't need buerocracy to bog down what is a legitimate and wide spread discontent.

You're upset because they haven't asked you in particular. If you love how things are going feel free to set up a "we love Donald" club....otherwise get out of the way.

Most people won't actually bother to read the statement, but they'll hear about it and the #DonaldOut Twitter campaign.
This is the point, to harness the fans frustration and get #DonaldOut trending on Twitter. For a few hours, it was the biggest talking point on a media platform the whole world takes notice of.

Now we sit back and see how many people listened, starting with local and national press.

I’m not upset at all, I agree with them, I have criticised the owners plenty.
It’s always fine until they do something people don’t agree with.

The Americans absolutely hold all the cards and call the shots from what I've been told.
The board meeting held recently was apparently at their request

I was told in all his time here, this was the FIRST proper board meeting SD had ever held! He just didnt bother
Have you had sources before Maxie lad?

OK. So what is your rationale for asking them to be less proactive?
They are supposed to be a voice for the fans, democratic organisation. They have put something out (which I agree with) but haven’t done anything to ask the fans that I have seen, if they agree with it.
I can see how that could cause problems in the future.

How do they know the majority are disgusted with the way the club is being treated? Have they asked anyone?
I am trying to separate the issue, they are probably reflecting the general mood in this case, but what if they weren’t or it was much closer.

Have you met anyone who is okay with the current predicament? Even the national media are piling in now, which says something. Every poll ran on here or Twitter has had 90%+ Parkinson out, that's with thousands of responses too. It's a pretty desperate situation.

I'm not happy with how things are going on the pitch or behind the scenes but the Mags have been embarrassing themselves for years with these chairman out type protests and it has gotten them nowhere. The best protest you can do is just stop attending games. You can't get rid of an owner unless there is an interested buyer anyway and other than the stadium we have nowt worth buying right now.
It's got them to mid-table PL security and a sustainable business model.

We would give our left bollocks for that man.

Our expectations are not on the same planet as the Mags.

I'll be honest mind, I'm amazed that any half decent sized company doesn't have a maintenance contract for things like that!
Well they have to have a maintenance contract according to HSE law mate, and insurance inspections. The time comes when the lift needs major refurbishment and they haven’t built a lifecycle model into the whole of the AoL and SoL. This is where the problem lies, it’s approaching 20 years old and most of the equipment and structure will need some sort of lifecycle funding. It won’t be just the lift

A Parkinson our poll is a little different to what they have put out though. It’s the owner they have targeted. I think that would be closer in a poll (but still very negative).

To be fair, I think this is the one time in my entire life as a supporter where it's pretty obvious what the consensus is.

Also, the fanzines are not democratic organizations. If the statement didn't speak for us it would blow back on them.

If prefer they affected positive change than were rendered ineffective by trying to ask everyone to contribute. You will always get people like "pw-whatever" who lick boots and never complain.

The fanzines aren’t no, they should be able to say what they want.
You don’t need to ask everyone, they just should have some process before they put out pretty huge statement like that imo. They may have one that I haven’t seen.
I think there would be as near as possible a consensus on getting rid of Parkinson, I think it would be a bit less clear cut with Donald.

Stripped everything back go the bare bones in the hopes of maxing out a profit on the sale?

Sure seems like it.

Massively this. Also put their mates in key areas so nothing is questioned. ‘Richard Hill saved SAFC’

This, ive read mags in twitter saying they feel our pain as they are dealing with Ashley, f***ing hell man majority of our fans would be like pigs in shit if we were in their shoes. Poor buggers mid table premier league football, financially stable the hell of it all.
