The fanzines aren’t no, they should be able to say what they want.
You don’t need to ask everyone, they just should have some process before they put out pretty huge statement like that imo. They may have one that I haven’t seen.
I think there would be as near as possible a consensus on getting rid of Parkinson, I think it would be a bit less clear cut with Donald.

We have an owner who is at this point and absentee landlord who won't explain his lack of a plan and keeps his mates in jobs.

I think picking holes in the processes of the people brave enough to call him on it is missing the point.

I wonder when Donald will eventually getting the begging bowl out to the Americans? Not before the club is run into the ground entirely I suspect as he will still possess some deluded thoughts that the current situation will be turned around and we will get promoted and as such his holding in the club will be worth significantly more.

It will probably take League 2 to do it.

Have you had sources before Maxie lad?
A few over time. My source/ mate gets contacts at the club due to what he does. These come and go over time as people leave and are replaced. Hence its sporadic.
This was recently. Was told that behind scenes, he never held a formal board meeting. Ever

If you want SD out, why wasnt a statement put out about all the bad things he has done?
It seems from the statement that we want SD out as PP substituted a defender for a defender when he was playing 3 at the back anyway.

I find it pathetic tbh.
Surely it could have been better?
He Isn't The Messiah - He's A Very Naughty Boy.

What do you mean absentee landlord? He offered to do a podcast with RR 2 days ago (I think he handled that very badly).
Not really picking holes in it, can just see how that could backfire massively if they misjudged the mood, or had some less genuine people involved. It’s more a protection for them.

I, for one, am gutted at the way things have turned out for donald. I think he is a decent bloke who is out of his depth. I think he has an ego with a 'people pleaser' personality type. His ego drove him to take on a club that is way to big for him and make bullish statements about his wealth, his plans i.e. the budget and also the 100 point target. His personality type caused him to be creative with the truth at times. He comes across a little cowardly when you hear he gets other people to do sackings etc.

I do think he wanted to get promoted then sell as he simply doesn't have the financial clout to compete in the championship. I wouldnt have minded him making a few quid if he did that, as long as he passed the club on to the right people.

We cannot get away from the fact that the current situation is absolutely unacceptable. As an owner he is far too small time. He has a lower league mentality and this was proven by his attempts to win the mickey mouse cup last year. People were lapping it up at the time but alarm bells were ringing for me. Its an absolute embarrassment for a club of this stature to be trying to win that, and even worse, failing. It was symptomatic of what lower league ownership view as 'success'.

I only hope he considers the fans and the future of his club before making his next move. I dont want him to make a massive loss on it, but if that is the only option he needs to take his medicine as his decisions have got us here. The club and fans should not pay.

An absentee landlord in that he has gone into hiding... unless he can control the output.

He didn't offer to do a podcast, he asked the fanzines to be his mouthpiece and thankfully they have called him on it. Would not be surprised if his attitude in this regard has brought them all together.

The last straw?
Wasn't the play offs our target last year?
I've been reasonably happy with lots of stuff untill the appointment of parky.

I thought from grumpys analysis and SD podcasts we have done reasonably well since they took over financially.

We spent big money for league one.

This season has been a disaster, with in hindsight an awful transfer window and a shit managerial appointment, but this January is his first time he can rectify that.
Surely this January transfer window should be the last straw, not a week before it opened?

I believe SD and CM and most fans and bookies thought we were in a good place to go up at the start of the season.
Surely a lot of that must lie with JR and what he said he needed for his squad after assessing them for over a season?
The trouble is the transfer window does not close till the end of January and Parkinson has already said "don't expect early signings" so is it going to be a last day rush again? If so we will have probably be further down the table.

I like that basis behind it, although the content was more aimed at Parkinson’s incompetence the fact that the vocal social
Media part of the fan base joined forces sends a shockwave

There was a chap on here, whose username unfortunately I cannot recall who tried to organise a boycott/protest against Short and he was ripped apart by nearly every member of this board. Curious to know what's changed to drive this response. I know the obvious answer is your league position but perhaps if you listened to that fella and acted sooner you could have avoided this shitstorm. Seems a bit like too little too late.

Stripped everything back go the bare bones in the hopes of maxing out a profit on the sale?

Sure seems like it.
Parky was part of that... The cheapest option... 100k less a year than Ross
It's clear that we been run on a shoestring

This.

There are a lot of fans who are not involved in the forensic examination of the club’s business model and finances nor the words of the owner. A lot of supporters are just keen on seeing a decent team and some exciting successful football. Parky is the direct link with a lot of people’s support and appraisal of the club and undoubtedly his popularity is very low so a campaign against him is likely to be better supported.
